This is a very breath-centered practice, noticing how the inhale prepares you for the movement and release of the exhale. Total length is about 50 minutes and it is a standing-pose-heavy practice. You will use the inhale to breathe strength into your foundation and create space to move deeper with the exhale. How freely and smoothly you can breathe in in any given shape will offer you clues about how much room you have for a deeper expression of posture. Both "open" (Triangle, Side Angle) and "closed" (Crescent, Humble Warrior) hip postures are used here. You will coordinate movement and breath to create a sense of freedom in your movement and mind. Inhale, prepare; exhale, release; inhale, open the door; exhale, move forward and through. This is a great practice to start your day but can really be used at any time.
